The tablets are intended for adults and adolescents. Do not use in children under 6 years of age or weighing less than 20 kg.
Take with or immediately after a meal.
Do not use ibuprofen for a long period of time.
Average dose:
Adults and adolescents: The usual daily dose is 1-2 tablets 3-4 times a day (every 6 hours). Do not exceed 1200 mg/day with the 200 mg tablets, or 2400 mg/day with the 400 mg or 600 mg tablets.
Children 6-12 years (>20 kg): The usual dose is one 200 mg tablet 1-3 times a day. Do not exceed 3 tablets (600 mg) per day.
Dosages for children depend on the child's weight. The range is 5–15 ml, 3 times a day.
Doses may be changed under special circumstances, so always follow your doctor or pharmacist's instructions.
If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital immediately.
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is almost time for your next dose.
Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for a missed dose.
