Warnings and precautions while using Riacavillol 25 mg tablets
Acute exacerbation of coronary artery disease upon discontinuation of treatment: Do not stop taking the medication suddenly.
Slow heart rate, low blood pressure, worsening heart failure/fluid retention may occur. Reduce dose as needed.
Non-allergic bronchospasm (eg, chronic bronchitis and emphysema): Avoid beta-blockers. However, if necessary, use with caution and at the lowest effective dose.
Diabetes: Monitor glucose because beta blockers may mask symptoms of hypoglycemia or worsen hyperglycemia.
You should consult your doctor if you plan to combine these tablets with the medications listed below:
CYP P450 2D6 inhibitors may increase and rifampin may decrease carvedilol levels.
Antihypertensive agents (such as reserpine, MAO inhibitors, clonidine) may increase the risk of hypotension and/or severe bradycardia.
Cyclosporin or digoxin levels may increase.
Calcium channel blockers such as verapamil or diltiazem may affect the electrocardiogram and/or blood pressure.
The action of insulin and oral antidiabetics can be enhanced.
