Picoprep orange flavor sachets are used to remove and cleanse the contents of the intestines before a doctor's examination or surgery.
Your doctor was able to see inside easily.
It is sometimes used to cleanse the colon before special kidney scans are performed.
It does this by working in the intestines and colon, causing watery stools or bowel movements that remove the contents of the intestines.
However, your doctor may prescribe Becoprep for another purpose.
Ask your doctor if you have any questions about why Becoprep was prescribed to you or how to take it.
Usage guidelines:
Do not take this medicine without consulting your doctor or pharmacist.
Follow all instructions given to you by your doctor carefully.
Preparing the solution:
Slowly add the contents of one sachet of Picoprip to a large glass of cold water (approximately 250 ml). Stir gently.
Your doctor may change the timing of the bags and the time without food or drink before the examination.
Adults and children over the age of 9 should only take Becoprep.
Preparing the two bags:
Solid foods, dairy products, and alcoholic beverages are not allowed.
On the day before the examination, drink only approved pure liquids.
Starting the day before the examination (around 3 pm), dissolve the entire contents of one sachet of Picoprip in a cup (250 ml) of warm water.
If desired, chill the drink in the refrigerator before drinking. Drink the contents of the cup followed by a glass of water.
Continue to drink approved clear fluids, at least one cup per hour, whenever better, to ensure adequate hydration.
On the evening of the same day (around 9 pm), repeat the above with another sachet of Picoprip, i.e.: dissolve it in a glass of warm water, cool it if you prefer, then drink the contents followed by a glass of water.
Continue to drink approved clear liquids, at least one cup per hour up to six (6) hours before the examination.
You must not eat or drink anything for six (6) hours before the examination.

This preparation usually results in frequent and repeated bowel movements within two to three hours of taking the first dose.
You should stay close to the toilet facilities and not plan any other activities until after the check-up.
It is very important to drink enough fluids to avoid dehydration.
Drink approved clear fluids, at least 250ml every hour, up to 6 hours before the examination.
