Product Description:

  • Physiotens contains an active ingredient called Moxonidine.
  • This active ingredient belongs to a group of medicines called "hypertensives".
  • Physiotens is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).
  • It works by inhibiting nerve signals to the muscles in the blood vessels, causing them to relax and dilate. This helps lower blood pressure.

Directions for use:

  • The usual starting dose is 0.2 mg daily in the morning.
  • If an adequate therapeutic effect is not achieved, the dose can be increased to 0.4 mg after 3 weeks.
  • The dose may be given as a single dose or divided into two doses.
  • If the effect is still insufficient, the dose can be increased to 0.6 mg after another 3 weeks.
  • Daily doses greater than 0.6 mg and single doses greater than 0.4 mg should not be exceeded.
  • The dose should be adjusted individually according to the patient's response.

Use of other medicines with Physiotens:
