Product Description
Tadalafil 5 mg is a treatment for adult men with erectile dysfunction. This occurs when a man is unable to make or keep his penis rigid and erect enough for sexual activity. Tadalafil significantly improves the ability to achieve a firm erection.
Suitable for sexual activity
Tadalafil contains the active ingredient tadalafil, which belongs to a group of medications called phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors. Following sexual arousal, tadalafil works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, allowing blood to flow into the penis. This results in improved erectile function. It is important to note that tadalafil does not work if there is no sexual arousal.
Instructions for use
The recommended dose is one tablet once a day, at least 30 minutes before sexual intercourse.
Warnings and Precautions
Avoid taking tadalafil in the following cases:
• If you are hypersensitive to tadalafil or any of the other ingredients of tadalafil.
• If you are taking any organic nitrates or nitric oxide donors such as amyl nitrite. This is a group of medicines called "nitrates" used to treat angina ("chest pain").
• If you have serious heart disease or have recently had a heart attack within the past 90 days.
• If you have recently had a stroke within the previous 6 months.
• If you have low blood pressure or uncontrolled high blood pressure.
• If you have previously had vision loss due to non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION), a condition called an “eye stroke.”
• If you are taking riociguat.
Caution should be exercised when taking tadalafil.
- If you have blood pressure problems.
- If you suffer from any hereditary eye disease.
- If you have sickle cell anemia (a disease that affects red blood cells).
- If you have multiple myeloma (a cancer of the bone marrow).
- If you have leukemia (a cancer of the blood cells).
- If you have any abnormalities in the penis.
- If you have a serious liver problem.
- If you have a serious kidney problem.
