Gaviscon Double Action Tablets - Chewable Tablets - 32 Tablets

Gaviscon Double Action Tablets:

• Sodium alginate, sodium bicarbonate, and calcium carbonate

Why use Gaviscon Double Action Tablets ?

• Dual Action Alginic Acid is used to treat acid-related symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) such as acid reflux, heartburn, and indigestion that may occur, for example, after meals, or during pregnancy.

Do not take Gaviscon Double Action Tablets:

• If you know you are allergic to any of the ingredients in this medicine.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Gaviscon Double Action Tablets if you:

• You suffer or have suffered from major kidney or heart disease
• Learn that your stomach contains low amounts of stomach acid.

Possible side effects:

• Like all medicines, Dual Action Alginic Tablets can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. If you experience these side effects, stop taking the product and consult your doctor immediately.

Other medicines and Gaviscon Double Action Tablets:

• Do not take this medicine within 2 hours of taking other oral medications because it can interfere with the action of some other medications.
• Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicine obtained without a prescription.

How to take Gaviscon Double Action Tablets:

• Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as advised by your doctor or pharmacist.
• For oral use, chew well before swallowing.

Adults, including the elderly, and children 12 years and older:

• When symptoms occur, take two to four tablets after meals and at bedtime up to four times a day.

How to store Gaviscon Double Action Tablets:

• Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
• Do not use this product after the expiration date printed on the carton after EXP (month/year). The expiration date refers to the last day of that month.
• Do not store above 30°C and store in the original package to protect from moisture.
• Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste.
