Betamethasone Dipropionate 0.05% w/w Ointment / Salicylic Acid 3% w/w
What is betamethasone dipropionate/salicylic acid and what is it used for?
- This product consists of two active ingredients: betamethasone dipropionate and salicylic acid.
- Betamethasone dipropionate belongs to a class of drugs known as "topical corticosteroids" that work to reduce inflammation, itching, and redness of the skin.
- Salicylic acid is a medication that works by softening the top layer of scales on the skin's surface, allowing betamethasone dipropionate to reach the affected area of skin beneath the scales and help heal the skin condition. This product is used to treat adults and children with skin problems that include a layer of scales covering the affected skin.
- This product will help reduce itching and redness in your skin and remove the layer of scales.
