• Dermovate contains the active ingredient clobetasol propionate which belongs to a group of medicines called

• Dermovate is used to help reduce the redness and itching of a certain scalp.
• Problems in adults, the elderly, and children over 1 year of age.

• Red, inflamed skin, often covered with silvery scales) that has not responded to milder treatments
• Steroid creams, ointments, lotions, or scalp applications.

Directions for use:

Adults:

• Apply to the affected area of the scalp twice a day, once in the morning and once at night.

Children from 12 to 17 years old:

• Apply to the affected area of the scalp twice a day, once in the morning and once at night.

Children under 12 years of age:

• Not recommended for use.

The liquid should be applied sparingly to the areas of the scalp that need treatment using the nozzle of the bottle.

• You can rub the liquid into your scalp if you like, but let it dry afterward.
• Clobetasol will be left on the scalp - it should not be washed off.
• If you need to wash your hair, you should wash and dry your hair before applying the scalp treatment.
• Be careful to avoid applying the scalp to the face or in the eyes.
• Rinse with cold water in case of accidental contact.
• Avoid applying to broken skin.
• Wash your hands after applying to your scalp to avoid accidentally transferring it to other areas.
• It is usually applied to the scalp once or twice a day. Once the condition begins to improve, it should be used less frequently, as directed by your doctor.
• If your scalp does not improve after two to four weeks of treatment, you should consult your doctor.
• Repeated courses may be necessary to control flare-ups of psoriasis or eczema, but should only be started on the advice of your doctor.

Warnings and Precautions:

Do not use Dermovate:

• If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to clobetasol propionate or any other medicines
• Dermovate ingredients.
• If you have dermatitis on your scalp.
• For a child under 1 year.
