Piperazine-Hexamine-Khlein effervescent granules have a relaxing effect on smooth muscles, relieving colic usually associated with urinary disorders.
Piperazine-Hexamine-Khlein effervescent granules have an antispasmodic effect in renal colic.
Medical uses of Coli-Urinal effervescent granules
It is used in the prevention and treatment of chronic or recurrent lower urinary tract infections and asymptomatic bacteriuria.
How to use Coli-Urinal effervescent granules
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.

Recommended dosage:
1 tablespoon dissolved in half a cup of water after eating three times a day.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Doses may be changed under special circumstances, so always follow your doctor or pharmacist's instructions.
If you take more medicine than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital immediately.
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is almost time for your next dose.
Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for a missed dose.

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, headache, rash, and urticaria sometimes occur.
Severe neurological toxicity and EEG abnormalities have been reported with symptoms including drowsiness, dizziness, nystagmus, muscle incoordination and weakness, ataxia, paresthesias, myoclonic spasms, pulmonary movements, tremors, convulsions, and loss of reflexes.

Do not take Piperazine-Hexamine-Khlein effervescent granules:
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients.
Epilepsy or severe renal failure and should be given with caution to patients with neurological disorders.
It should also be avoided or given with extreme caution in patients with hepatic impairment.
How to store Coli-Urinal effervescent granules
Store below 25°C.
Do not refrigerate the medicine.
Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Must be stored in the original container to protect from moisture.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the carton/blister/label. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
