Ambroxol is an expectorant/mucolytic used in the treatment of acute and chronic respiratory disorders associated with abnormal mucus secretion and impaired mucus transport.

I was extremely allergic to any of the ingredients.
Possible side effects:
Ambroxol is generally well-tolerated. Mild upper gastrointestinal side effects have been reported (primarily heartburn, indigestion, and occasionally nausea and vomiting).
Allergic reactions, especially skin rashes, have been reported rarely.
Other medications and ambroxol.
Avoid using ambroxol concurrently with antibiotics.
How to take Ambroxol:
concentrated syrup
Adults and children over 12 years: 10 ml three times a day; this should be increased to 20 ml twice a day in severe cases and in the initial treatment of chronic conditions for up to 14 days.
