sodium chloride nasal spray

Why is sodium chloride used?

  • The most natural way to clean your nose is to blow your nose.
  • A clean nose helps eliminate nasal problems.
  • Babies and toddlers don't know how to blow their noses, so it's important to clean your baby's nose regularly.
  • The best way to do this is to rinse the nostrils with an isotonic saline solution that thins nasal secretions while keeping the mucous membrane moist.

Do not use sodium chloride:

  • Do not use if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.

Warnings and Precautions:

  • No special precautions are required when used as directed.
  • However, after a nose operation or nasal injury, medical clarification is required before use, especially if another nasal medication for topical application is used simultaneously.

Possible side effects:

  • Stop using the product and seek immediate medical attention if you experience tightness in the throat, swelling of the eyes, face, lips, or tongue, feel faint, or have difficulty breathing.
  • Stop using the product if you experience hives or itching on the face or body.

Other medicines and sodium chloride:

  • There are no known interactions.

How to use sodium chloride;

1. Remove the protective cover from the container.

2. Hold the base of the container with your thumb and the nozzle between your index and second fingers. When using the container for the first time, press the pump several times until you get a regular spray before inserting it into your nostril. The container is then ready to use.

3. Insert the nozzle into each nostril. Clean the nozzle after use. One to two sprays into each nostril, several times a day, as needed.

How to store sodium chloride

  • Sodium chloride should be stored at room temperature between 15°C and 30°C.
